Personnel shall be deployed at the following hours:
Mondays to Fridays:
8:00 am to 4:30 pm (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
Daily start time may vary according to the semester timetable; however, the total number of working hours per day remains fixed.
Service not required for a total of

2. Scope of Services
The STEM Executive will support the effective administration and operations of the school's STEM programmes, including the JOULES Programme and the Applied Learning Programme (ALP). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
A. Support for Junior Outstanding Leaders in Energy for Sustainability (JOULES) Programme
Prepare and set up equipment/devices for lessons, including micro:bit, simple electrical circuits, sensors, solar panels, M5GO kits, and related peripherals.
Conduct routine checking, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of the JOULES Smart Centre.
Attend professional development sessions and training conducted by teachers, vendors, or external partners (at no additional cost to the Contractor).
Assist trainers and teachers during lessons, supporting students in hands-on tasks.
Preferably able to conduct workshops or training sessions for students; may accompany students for learning journeys, STEM competitions, and serve as an assistant chaperone.
Perform regular maintenance and stock-check of all STEM-related equipment and devices.
Maintain and update inventory records/checklists on a termly basis.
Record, track, and process damaged, missing, or condemned equipment.
Ensure equipment and devices are properly returned and kept in order after lessons.
Assist the STEM Programme Committee in consolidating procurement requirements submitted by staff and students.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the JOULES Smart Centre.
B. Support for Applied Learning Programme (ALP) - Building a Maker Culture
Supervise students in the safe and proper use of the Makerspace.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for safety, security, access, and training for Makerspace users.
Work with the STEM Programme Committee to manage the Makerspace budget and resources, including materials, equipment, and software.
Participate in setting up, installing, and operating equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and Virtual Reality systems.
Assist in ensuring the safety and regular maintenance of Makerspace equipment and tools.
Collaborate with the STEM Programme Committee to support curriculum and programme development for the Makerspace.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the Makerspace at all times.
3. Qualifications and Skills
The Personnel shall minimally possess the following:
Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Meticulous, organised, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Polytechnic
Diploma
, preferably in a STEM-related discipline, with at least
3 years of relevant experience
.
Candidates without a diploma but with relevant experience may also apply.
Knowledge of processes, machines, fabrication techniques, and materials within a prototyping or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
