JD \xe2\x80\x93 Store Manager (Killiney Concept Store @ Changi Airport)Position: Store Manager Term: Full-time Killiney will be opening its first retail concept store at Changi Airport (T1) and we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join our team! The store manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store which includes driving store\xe2\x80\x99s sales and service performance, as well as hiring, scheduling and managing store employees. - 5.5 days work week (Mondays to Saturdays) - Location: Changi Airport - Salary: $2,500 to $4,000 per month Roles and Responsibilities 1. Financial
To achieve store sales target on a monthly and yearly basis.
Bank in daily sales amount in accordance to cash handling procedures set by the Company.
2. Operations
Maintain all company policies and standards in relation to running of store such as store appearance and visual merchandising
Guarantee consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store
Ensure physical stock count is conducted daily / weekly and forecast run rate.
Ensure that store appearance and merchandise are constantly upgraded in terms of store layout and product range
Ensure effective communication between store and HQ.
3. Promotions
Ensure promotions are well presented and with good visibility
Monitor the performance of promotional items and provide regular reporting and proactive feedback to HQ
4. Cashiering
Ensure that operating procedures and in-store cash flow are properly controlled and complied with company procedures. Any deviation must be reported to HQ.
Perform cashiering duties or ensure manpower available to do cashiering duties
Perform till checks during shift change or takeover by different cashier. On-the-spot till checks are to be performed at least twice a week.
5. Ordering
Conduct weekly stock ordering to support business operations
6. Stock
Check and execute returns on expired or damaged stocks, post-promotional items, and any other ad hoc returns upon approval and instructions from HQ
Control and minimize stock loss and wastage
Ensure all goods received are in correct quantities and in good condition. Supervise stocks display by non-management staff.
Ensure all invoices received are in orderly and accurate manner
Minimize stock shrinkage by maintaining tight security
Participate in routine stocktaking exercises to make sure that the exercises are planned, organized and carried out carefully to optimize results.
Check and monitor the expiry dates of products on a rotationally bi-weekly basis.
7. Supervisory
Conduct on-the-job (OJT) training for new (permanent / contract) staff.
Manage and constantly maintain and improve the level of customer service.
Encourage and motivate non-management staff.
Delegate tasks to non-management staff when appropriate and ensure the tasks are carried out in compliance with company standards.
Ensure non-management staff adheres to all company policies and standards at all times.
Monitor the performance of non-management staff and feedback to Store-in-charge or Area
Manager for necessary action.
Responsible for assisting with the recruitment, training, development and succession of high performing, results driven staff
8. Housekeeping & Workplace Safety
Ensure the sales floor are kept clean and clear of hazards and stock rooms are well kept with proper label
9. Administration
Assist in compiling monthly report.
Assist in completing and submitting documents in accordance to deadlines/instructions.
Ensure that operating procedures, invoices and purchase orders are properly controlled.
All shortages should be reported to the HQ immediately
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by HQ. Requirements
Relevant experience in retail/F&B industry is an advantage
Minimum GCE O level with at least 2 years supervisory experience in a similar capacity
Fresh diploma holder in any discipline
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Meticulous and committed
Friendly and positive (customer centric)
Able to work long hours when required
Able to work independently or within a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Sales driven, resourceful and energetic
Possess the following skills: cashiering, selling /upselling, customer service, supervisory skills as well as being digitally inclined
Singaporeans/PRs preferred
