KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage and maintain the company's inventory.
Monitor stock movements and oversee inventory management at third-party locations.
Handle the physical tasks of loading, unloading, and storing inventory when necessary.
Ensure adherence to inventory control procedures, including stock movement, item planning, re-order levels, non-moving item monitoring, and the timely disposal of approved scrap.
Properly classify, segregate, and maintain inventory in assigned areas.
Ensure that all required documentation is accurately kept, referenced, and filed.
Ensure inventory-related updates are properly entered into the accounting system.
Conduct routine stock checks, update records, and report findings to stakeholders.
Coordinate effectively with teams across various company locations.
Identify inventory discrepancies, report them, and maintain records for variances.
Develop and implement corrective actions in the event of any control lapses.
Produce and deliver daily and monthly MIS reports to stakeholders regularly or upon request.
Ensure the safe handling and storage of inventory.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor's degree / Diploma Holder / Post National ServiceExperience: Must have relevant experience in inventory management and be adept at managing inventory through the Zoho systemIndustry Experience: Experience in the marine sector is advantageous but not mandatoryPhysical Requirements: Should be physically able to manage inventory when requiredOther Requirements: Knowledge of Zoho or any other inventory management softwareReports to: Logistics Manager
