As part of the Narrative Team, our writer will work closely with stakeholders, producers, the community team, and game designers. We are looking for people who are able to weave narrative artfully into game features and art assets, helping us to build cohesive and immersive worlds, characters and lines that capture our users\xe2\x80\x99 imagination. Roles & Responsibilities: \xe2\x97\x8f Research, conceptualise and pitch scenarios for limited-time events and full campaigns for existing and new IPs.
\xe2\x97\x8f Work with game designers and game directors to author texts including but not limited to dialogue, voiceover lines, mission prologues, level introductions, character profiles, inventory flavor text, in-game news, etc, that support game design goals while staying true to the established vision, lore and style of the IP. \xe2\x97\x8f Proofread and edit content and documentation by stakeholders, game designers, and the community team for public release, and ensure clear and concise messaging to our target audience and corporate partners. \xe2\x97\x8f Maintain the Master Text Documents and appendices required for projects the writer is involved in. Qualifications: \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent command of the English language. \xe2\x97\x8f Graduate diploma/degree in the following or related fields: Literature, Film, Games Design, or Mass Communications. \xe2\x97\x8f At least 1 year of experience in developing narrative content and/or writing in any form of media such as video games, web sites, television, film, print, radio. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong interest and knowledge of mobile games, hero collection/gacha games, and narrative-driven games (Describe your experience and insight briefly in your cover letter. Only applications that include this will be considered!) \xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of the lore of Valiant Force projects (You may be asked to share your opinions on these subjects in the interview!) \xe2\x97\x8f A strong portfolio of written work where dialogue features predominantly. Must be furnished to be considered for this position. Relevant writing samples include: dialogue for games, scripts, screenplays, stage plays, fiction\xe2\x80\x94even fan fiction! Preferred Qualities: \xe2\x97\x8f Well-read and well-versed in fantasy fiction, anime and manga. \xe2\x97\x8f Academic background or research interests in fields such as sociology, anthropology, history, geography, mythology, psychology, etc. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong team ethic \xe2\x97\x8f Receptive to co-writing, co-editing and feedback/critique. \xe2\x97\x8f Possesses a sensitivity to visual aesthetics, such as researching relevant images and art to supplement or conceptualise aspects of the narrative \xe2\x97\x8f Versatility in writing styles\xe2\x80\x94either currently proficient in a broad range of styles, or capable of quickly learning new ones. \xe2\x97\x8f Takes feedback well and is motivated to improve constantly as a writer \xe2\x97\x8f Meticulous and proofreads own work, detail-oriented Email your resume and sample writing (in English) to: career@xiibraves.com Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month Benefits:
