• Adecco is partnering with a multinational corporation oil and gas company to search for a Strategic Buyer

The Opportunity

• Focus: Procurement, Negotiation skills and SAP -MM Module
• Office location: Singapore, West
• Working hours: 5 days\' work (Monday-Friday)

The Talent

• Solid Knowledge and experience in SAP system, MM module
• Bachelor\'s degree in chemical or engineering/mechanical or supply chain management
• 2 to 3 years of working experience in Procurement (Acquisition/purchase to pay)
• Organize/participate tender process
• Develop, prepare and finalize (frame) contracts, negotiate cost, terms and conditions, specification validations if necessary
• Coordinate internal cross functional reviews on Terms and Conditions disputes
• Negotiations with the vendors, ensure the competitiveness of the prices, book the savings in the system

The Job

MAIN FUNCTIONS

Purchases spot equipment, materials, chemicals/catalysts, and service requirements for multiple business lines.

• Processes a queue of requisitions and converts to purchase orders on a daily basis.
• Collects written proposals from vendors as needed.
• Conducts simple negotiations of pricing and general terms & conditions.
• Addresses invoice discrepancies from the purchase order or the goods receipt and approves invoice payment for any additional freight costs not accounted for on purchase order.
• Liaises with the strategic buyer regarding project or turnaround purchases and potential bundles
• Provides support to ensure timely invoice payment.
• Handles any PO (purchase order) maintenance for orders processed (e.g. update PO text, update delivery date, etc.)
