Job Summary: This role is for a strategic deal management lead, independent value creator, savvy business operator and people developer. As part of the NCS Growth & Sales Centre of Excellence (CoE), the NCS Strategic Deal Management team brings sales and commercial rigor to the shaping and closing of NCS’ largest scale client opportunities through to mergers and acquisitions.
Working across Asia Pacific, you will lead and develop the Strategic Deal Management team. You will oversee the execution of deal managers whom utilise a wide range of win strategy, commercial, financial analysis/modelling and negotiation skills to help develop the business case and value proposition for both NCS and our clients. You will be hands on and also work directly on client opportunities alongside our Market Maker team.
In this multi-faceted role, you'll be part of building something new and have a genuine impact on a fast-growing global organisation. As part of the role you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders such as client team sales, competitive intelligence, solution architects, legal and finance teams to help shape and close deals in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Previous experience in a similar role leading a Deal Management/Commercial/Pricing team in a multi-region Technology, Consulting or B2B sales environment
  • Build sales, commercial, financial best practices and templates for re-use and drive continuous improvement across the Strategic Deal Management team
  • Work closely with assigned Market Maker to develop deal-specific financial strategies, solutions and storylines in support of win themes and client requirements.
  • Help to develop response & negotiation tactics with the client sales team, Financial/Legal function to improve win probability.
  • Work closely with commercial managers and client sales team for the submission of proposed contract pricing throughout the entire sales cycle on client deals.
  • Be a business advisor to NCS sales teams on the financial optimization of a client contract.
  • Perform general financial/commercial analysis, including analysis of average daily rates, workforce / pyramid / on/off shore mix, profitability, capital exposure, scenario analysis and financial simulations.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of win strategy, financial and commercial assumptions for the deal
  • Work with competitive intelligence team on price to win and competitive analysis and infuse insights into the win strategy and overall commercial proposition
  • Drafting of client sales pitches, presentations and other documents as required
  • Where required, support bid and proposal compliance and completion working closely with the client sales teams, bid management office and global sales support


The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of deal structuring/bid management or contract pricing experience
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience within Consulting/Technology/IT Services industry
  • The position requires a strong working knowledge of current “market” positions on key financial constructs and commercial terms, information technology customer expectations and trends on these positions.
  • International business and bidding experience, along with knowledge of off-shore engagement models
  • Hands of experience with business analysis and modelling, analysis of the competition, win strategy and negotiation plans;
  • Very detail oriented and hands-on;
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines; comfortable working in a quick turnaround environment while maintaining accuracy;
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English;
  • Ability to travel if required.
