Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Production
- Position Title: Strategic Purchaser/ Strategic Buyer
- Working Location: North (Nearest MRT: Woodlands)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm
- Salary Package: Up to $5000 + Transport Allowance $100 + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing vendors in accordance with procurement strategies.
- Work with the Supplier Quality department on the planning of supplier audits.
- Drive for supplier performance, compliance and follow up with suppliers’ corrective actions.
- Implement strategies to improve supplier quality and ensure supply chain continuity and also reduction in non-conformance material.
- Leads contract negotiations and management such as Master Agreements and Quality Assurance Agreements
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory to ensure continuous supply flow of materials to support production.
- Other duties as assigned
- At least a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electronics/ Industrial etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in procurement in Asia with good knowledge of EMS and mechanical commodities.
- Able to interpret and understand part drawings and specifications.
- Knowledgeable in SAP MM/ QM Module would
