In Asia, Citi Global Wealth combines the Citi Private Bank and the Consumer Wealth organization, including the International Personal Bank, into a single platform to serve our clients. CGW Asia is a top three wealth manager in the region with over US$300B in clients AUMs and is looking to add in excess of US$150B AUMs by 2025 and further extend our leadership position in Asia.

A key segment of the CGW franchise, the Asia/EMEA CitiGold and CitiGold Private Client organization serves approximately 115M Affluent and High Net Worth (HNW) clients through its regional franchise, with presence in three Wealth hubs (Hong Kong, Singapore and United Arab Emirates). It delivers holistic wealth management solutions and product offerings from core banking and lending to managed investments accessible through offshore and onshore distribution models. The distribution model includes a high-touch service provided by both bankers and product specialists as well as sophisticated digital offerings.

Job Purpose:

The CG/ CPC strategy lead analyst will help drive flawless execution of the CG/CPC growth strategy, interfacing with many stakeholders regionally and globally. Successful candidates will be expected to help manage multiple and highly variable strategic deliverables on a day-to-day basis critical to the direction of the business. This individual will help ensure streamlining of activities within the organization based on the priorities of the business.

The candidate should be a Client obsessed and employee centric change agent, and someone that possesses both strategic and operating skills with high potential and empathy. S/he should also have both strong analytical abilities as well as flexible working and influencing style

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects across their lifecycle: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and obtaining buy-in for change.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with executives across the business.
  • Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects.
  • Efficiently solve complex, ambiguous problems/situations.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Secures initiatives/project sponsorship from senior leadership, and facilitates resolution of differences between various stakeholders, over prioritization and timely execution of reengineering initiatives; effectively promotes the need for reengineering, and persuades senior leadership around agreement and support of required change.
  • Develops effective partnership with the regional FP&A teams and a deep understanding of business financials and drivers
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in financial services.
  • Ability to problem solve, sound business judgment, and demonstrated result orientation.
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities; history of academic and professional excellence and achievement.
  • Creativity and independent thinking are key skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies. Leadership presence; commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders. Highly motivated and with enthusiasm for Financial Services industry and desire to master the business.
  • Sound working knowledge of financial modelling and can analyze financial statements.
  • Highly proficient in MS Powerpoint and Excel.
Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
