An exciting opportunity as a Structural Engineer awaits the successful candidate. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Support key areas of structural engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice. Understands clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs; \xc2\xb7 Assist in offshore transport and installation with load conditions. \xc2\xb7 Support design installation aid and offshore transport, grillage and sea-fastening related activities. \xc2\xb7 Support in sea-fastening design for jacket, topside, pipeline, risers and umbilical transportation and vessel/barge deck strength check. \xc2\xb7 Final Element Analysis, including strength analysis, vibration analysis, fatigue analysis and lifting analysis etc. \xc2\xb7 Support in production of deliverables, which may include design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions. \xc2\xb7 Assist in technical documentation. \xc2\xb7 Supports all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed. \xc2\xb7 Assist in analysis, design and engineering activities associated with platform and subsea structure construction, transportation and installation. \xc2\xb7 Support structural stability and integrity calculations for steel frame structures, installation aids items for pipelines, spool pieces, tie ins, risers and umbilical installation. \xc2\xb7 Assist in detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides (e.g. API, DNV, AISC); Client Specifications and Scopes of Work. \xc2\xb7 Support engineering assistance during mobilisations and occasional periods of offshore or site working where required. \xc2\xb7 Aid in technical engineering support to other departments within the Engineering Group, and to colleagues in terms of training and mentoring. Requirements \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Marine engineering focused on marine structures with 5 years of experience or more \xc2\xb7 Experience from the offshore/oil & gas industry is a plus \xc2\xb7 Experience with SESAM (GENIE), SACS and STAAD.Pro and MOSES Analysis will be an advantage \xc2\xb7 Familiar with DNV, API and Eurocodes will be an advantage Job Type: Permanent Salary: $7,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
