Job Description
Position: Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore)
Responsibilities:
- To deliver on schedule in modelling, analysing, reports and to prepare professional technical reports for design and engineering.
- Conversant and experienced with strength, structural stability, vibration, fatigue of floating, floating offshore and marine structures.
- Prepare technical reports for use as basic for supporting the engineering projects and activity.
- Define the calculation, analyses procedures, design premises, and reports to allow acceptance by the classification society, verification bodies and in compliance with client\xe2\x80\x99s specs, regulations, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Possess Degree in Master/Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of relevant working experiences.
- Skilled in modelling, analysing, designing offshore structures and mechanical components and sub-systems using calculation tools such as MATHCAD, Spreadsheets and FEA software (ANSYS and NX).
- Good knowledge in fixing offshore structures will be added advantages.
