Job Description
Responsibilities
- Familiar with classification rules such as ABS and DNV.
- Able to perform finite element modelling & analysis of various structural elements particularly for offshore structures.
- Able to prepare technical and investigation report for class review.
- Able to communicate with external parties such as regulatory bodies, classification societies, owners, etc.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- About 3 years or more of experience in structural design in mobile offshore drilling unit or fixed platform.
- Can work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to write computer programs in excel or fortran will be of advantage.
