Job Title: Studio Associate

WeTuft is looking for enthusiastic and creative Studio Associates to join our team! As a Studio Associate, you will play a key role in providing an excellent customer experience by guiding clients through various art activities, assisting with rug-making processes, and maintaining a well-organized studio environment. Responsibilities:


1. Client Engagement & Instruction:


Guide and teach clients the basics of tufting and other art-related activities. Provide hands-on assistance and troubleshooting during workshops. Ensure clients have a safe and enjoyable experience.
2. Studio Operations & Maintenance:


Set up and clean up workstations before and after sessions. Maintain studio equipment, tools, and materials in good condition. Follow safety protocols and ensure cleanliness within the workspace.
3. Rug Processing & Finishing:


Assist in applying backing, trimming, and finishing rugs. Ensure quality control for completed projects before handing them over to customers.
4. Sales & Customer Service:


Greet and assist customers with bookings, inquiries, and purchases. Promote additional services, workshops, and merchandise. Handle cash and digital payments efficiently.
5. Other Duties:


Support marketing efforts by capturing content for social media. Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing materials. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.


Requirements:


Passion for arts, crafts, or DIY projects. Friendly, patient, and able to communicate effectively with clients of all skill levels. Ability to perform physical tasks such as handling tufting tools and processing rugs. Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in tufting, arts, customer service, or teaching is a plus (training will be provided). Must be willing to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
