The newspaper has established itself as a voice for the Tamil-speaking community in Singapore. The newspaper is looking to hire : As a Sub Editor for Tamil Murasu, you will review and edit Tamil Murasu's editorial content for accuracy. You will coin catchy headlines and snappy captions in Tamil with an eye for details. You will ensure the timely filing of the story for print and online publishing. To be able to cater to the Tamil Murasu audience, we are only looking for individuals who are effectively bilingual in Tamil. As the role requires the sub-editors to work under tight daily deadlines, applicants with prior experience in working in a dynamic work environment will be preferred. Requirements: Minimum degree/diploma holder from a recognised university/Polytechnic Good news sense with a good understanding of trending news relevant to Tamil Murasu readers of digital and print versions. 3-4 years of relevant experience in an editorial capacity is essential.
