Job Description

As a Fukan sub-editor, you will:

• ensure that the style of final copies matches that of the publication\xe2\x80\x99s and that the copies are factually correct
• write story headlines and stand first
• Online editing
• design and do layouts for the newspaper
• prepare and mail out curated stories for daily newsletter
• work closely with reporter to coordinate and curate content

Requirements

• Degree in relevant studies
• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese as this role is for a Chinese newspaper
• Excellent written Chinese
• Deep knowledge in current affairs
• A meticulous team player with a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong analytical skills and inquisitive nature
• Flexible Working hours
