Job Description

The Assistant Manager provides support to the store manager in overseeing the operations of a Subway franchise location. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Oversee daily store operations including scheduling staff, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with company and health department standards, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Customer Service: Address customer queries and complaints, ensuring they have a positive experience. Resolve issues quickly and efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Staff Supervision: Assist in the hiring, training, and development of staff members. Ensure team members follow Subway\'s customer service and food preparation protocols.
• Inventory Control: Regularly check inventory and place orders when necessary, minimizing waste and effectively managing food costs.
• Sales and Marketing: Assist in implementing in-store promotions and sales strategies to drive store revenue. Encourage staff to upsell and promote new products or specials.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage cash handling, reconcile daily sales, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Quality Control: Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations. Work closely with the manager to maintain the quality standards of Subway.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, higher education is a plus.
• Previous experience in a food service environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of Subway\'s menu and service policies is beneficial

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month Benefits:
