Assist Assistant Manager and Executive, Environmental Control in the management of outsourced environmental services like pest control, solid waste management, sewerage management, general cleaning/hy Assist Assistant Manager and Executive, Environmental Control in the management of outsourced environmental services like pest control, solid waste management, sewerage management, general cleaning/hygiene, events management, water quality management, as well as involvement in key sustainability and environmental protection projects for Sentosa Island A) SPECIFIC Main responsibilities encompass daily audit inspection and ensure high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is achieved for tourist/resort environment of the environmental services rendered by term contractors for the buildings, beaches, attractions and common areas, etc Liaise with term contractors to identify shortcomings and follow up on improvements to their work processes and standards Liaise closely with Island Partners in attending to their waste management, recycling and pest control issues Coordinate with zone managers and term contractors on cleaning and waste management services especially during signature events like Runs, Fun Fest, Zouk Out, Siloso Beach Party as well as weekly MICE/Sales events Involvement with the coordination during Crisis in the fields of environmental services like oil spill response, pandemic clean up etc Ensure that all safety compliances and processes are adhered to by term contractors and other requirements stipulated in the WSHA and Involvement and coordination with the sustainability and environmental protection projects. B) GENERAL Performs administrative duties, i.e. collects and complies all relevant data for use in reports and plans or for future reference Compile daily audit inspection reports, attendance, deduction of service lapses recommendations etc Drainage, environment ' air and water quality, sewerage management, new initiatives / projects, SCOG for oil spill, Pandemic response and any other duties as assigned from time to time. Any other duties as assigned from time to time REQUIREMENTS: Minimally Diploma in the area of environmental management / science / services / sustainability / environmental protection with at least 3 years experience in sustainability, environmental protection, soft facility management and environmental services operations, i.e. pest control, solid waste management, general cleaning, water quality management, events management, sewerage management, etc Added advantage if the candidate possesses Environmental Control Officer and / or Pest Control Technician License by NEA Good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with staff and stakeholders A team player who is able to work independently Good IT skills i.e. Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point Able to multi-task and possess strong sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently in a fast pace working environment Willing and able to work on shift work, weekends and public holidays and Class 3 driving license is a must.
