Job Purpose

The staff will be responsible for the full suite execution of day-to-day learning facilities processes and operational tasks, to ensure smooth and efficient support for training delivery.

Responsibilities

Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

• Administer and support day-to-day learning facilities processes and operational tasks, which include but not limited to in-person training, digital learning, home-based learning, and workplace learning.
• Upkeep of SMRT Institute's (SMRTi) learning facilities & equipment (both assets and non-assets) including preventive maintenance and equipment life-cycle requirements.
• Administer proper documentation of SMRTi learning facilities & equipment maintenance and ad-hoc works.
• Monitor, update and track movement SMRTi assets inventory including annual asset checks and write off / disposal of items/equipment.
• Coordinate with relevant internal and external personnel on facility refurbishment and renovations.
• Ensure maintenance activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner; complying with policies and requirements set including compliance with statutory regulations on fire, environmental, health and safety standards.
• Assist with training facilities venue booking, including external training facilities venue booking.
• Provide prompt response to requests and issues pertaining to SMRTi learning facilities & equipment.
• Support any other learning operations assignments and duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Facility Management or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant facilities management experience in a training environment
• Proficient in MS Office
• Familiarity with using SAP and ARIBA preferred
• Basic operations and troubleshooting knowledge of IT related equipment preferred (i.e. tablets, laptops, projector, Wi-Fi router)

• Possess high level of personal effectiveness, attention to detail and impeccable follow through
• Capable of handling multiple tasks, working well under pressure and short timelines
• Result-oriented and exceptional problem-solving skills to address existing challenges to achieve sustainable and impactful results
• Exposure to Lean, 5S and GMP practices
