Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.Job Duties and Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Assist with operation, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of the Life Support System (LSS):o Follow scheduled routine for LSS mechanical checks.o Maintain familiarity with all aspects of the LSS, including electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.o Assist in the maintenance of aquatic LSS.o Assist in the fabrication and repair of LSS.\xc2\xb7 Work with other stakeholders to ensure exhibits are clean and well-maintained.\xc2\xb7 Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations and policies.\xc2\xb7 Ensure proper recordkeeping and documentation.\xc2\xb7 Other relevant duties as assigned.Job Requirements\xc2\xb7 NITEC / Diploma in Engineering or the equivalent.\xc2\xb7 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of pumps, basic understanding of electrical engineering, technical drawings and specifications, and repair/maintenance procedures.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of safe and proper use of hand tools, power tools in daily work activities.\xc2\xb7 Experience in zoological institutions, commercial aquariums, or fish farms, with knowledge LSS operations, will be an advantage.\xc2\xb7 Able to swim; confident in troubleshooting and repairing LSS underwater.\xc2\xb7 Able to carry heavy loads.\xc2\xb7 Able to work independently while being an excellent team player.\xc2\xb7 Willing to work on shift, weekends and public holidays.Specialization : Animal Care
