Job Description


Job Purpose

The Supervisor, Safety & Security is responsible to investigate into incidents and accidents to identify the causes and/or determine the non-compliance to rules and regulations. He/She will also play a crucial role in the education, engagement and enforcement of safety processes and procedures. Additionally, he/she is responsible to improve the safety culture and performance within the organisation, as well as to ensure compliance to legal legislations and corporate requirements. * Accident / Incident Investigation - Conducts investigations and identifies cases of non-compliance with organisational procedures and legal WSH requirements

  • Safety Culture - Shaping and strengthening safety culture through 4E Key Thrust (Education, Engagement, Enforcement & Enhancement)
  • Conformance to Regulatory Compliance - LTA requirement, WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations
  • Internal Safety and Security Reporting - Management of performance related reports to internal & external stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Conduct traffic accident investigation and standby Duty IO (accident scene investigation)
  • Request, verify and cutting of CCTV footages
  • Provide safety inputs during bus trials
  • Perform Education, Engagement and Enforcement on safety issues
  • Participate in implementation of ISO39001
  • Conduct WSH incident investigation and WSH L1 Inspection
  • Conduct Red Teaming and EOT Checks
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Possess at least a Diploma certificate
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience, previous experience in investigative roles will be an advantage
  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a Senior role
Skills

Technical skills include:
  • Good knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health regulations will be an advantage
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications, good interviewing and report writing skills
Generic skills include:
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Resourcefulness
  • Good team player
