Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of cleaning / janitorial staff across one or more assigned sites. Plan and schedule daily cleaning tasks; assign work so that roles and shifts are well covered. Monitor performance of staff: inspect work for quality, timeliness, and adherence to standards. Ensure cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment are maintained, adequate, and properly stored. Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance issues (e.g., flooring, fixtures, hygiene) and report / arrange for repairs if needed. Enforce safety, health, and hygiene standards, ensuring staff follow procedures for handling cleaning chemicals etc. Train new staff and conduct refresher training to maintain service quality and safety compliance. Maintain records/logs: attendance, shift rosters, supplies inventory, incident reports, quality checklists. Liaise with clients / site management to understand requirements, provide updates or address concerns. Participate in continuous improvement: propose process enhancements and ways to improve efficiency or reduce cost.

Requirements

Proven experience as a supervisor, preferably in cleaning / janitorial / facilities services. Strong leadership skills: able to motivate, coach, and manage staff. Good communication skills (English), able to interact with clients and staff clearly. Organized, with ability to plan shifts / tasks and manage time. Attention to detail: ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality. Physically fit: able to walk, inspect, occasionally assist with cleaning tasks. * Familiarity with handling cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
