About the role
We are looking for a Supervisor, Voyage Performance who will be responsible for optimizing the voyage performance of the vessels and provide subject matter expertise for port days optimization.
The incumbent in this position is not only accountable for the efficient execution of voyage performance but also for maximizing the profitability of every voyage in close cooperation with the terminals, schedulers commercial teams with productivity focus and critical thinking. This role may require direct communication with ship masters to advise, monitor and port interface activities as required to maintain operational integrity.
Reporting to the Manager, Operations, Pacific, you will:
Effectively plan, manage and optimize voyage performance of the vessels.
Monitor voyage performance and berthing prospects of the vessels and optimize the speed for best possible outcome.
Understanding of the existing and upcoming local and international emission regulations.
Develop, track and monitor the emission intensity of the vessels.
Ability to influence stakeholders to optimise the emissions intensity for the vessel/voyage.
Ensure vessels are CII compliant during pre-fixture. Track and provide feedback on voyage CII ratings of the vessels.
Support in developing digital solutions to capture the port congestions, port and berthing requirements for a vessel and optimize speed to reduce idle time and wastages.
Work with schedulers, terminals and port operations to optimise the total time spent by the vessels
Reconcile Operational performance metrics and share insights with the Chartering and Finance.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Degree in Marine or related.
Experience in Marine operations and understanding of shipboard equipment\xe2\x80\x99s.
Knowledge in the Marine emission regulations.
Knowledge in port operations is beneficial.
Strong analytical capabilities with an ability to compose and present concepts & innovations as required.
Ability to work independently, lead multiple projects concurrently, and think laterally with limited guidance.
Able to work well with various stakeholders across different levels and cultures.
