We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Assistant Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain processes. Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling:

  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to optimize efficiency.
  • Prepare internal reports on demand forecasting for finished goods.
  • Generate monthly demand forecast reports for our principal partners.
Purchasing / Procurement:
  • Manage the forecast, planning, coordination, and procurement of finished goods.
  • Establish and enforce company procurement standards and compliance.
  • Identify and manage alternative sources in situations where stock is unavailable.
  • Procure new manufacturers/principals for indent/agency purposes.
Overall Cost Control:
  • Monitor and control costs from goods to transportation expenses.
  • Conduct costing analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage inter-company transfer pricing.
Operation Support:
  • Establish relationships with new principal partners.
  • Ensure operational control and efficiency.
  • Assist in quotation, negotiation, and cost control.
  • Provide support to the customer service team in handling technical inquiries from hospitals.
Logistics:
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including planning for backup options.
  • Oversee inbound logistics providers and implement cost control measures.
  • Maintain the company\'s supply chain IT system.
Warehouse:
  • Plan, monitor, and control the movement of stock to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Implement and maintain an effective inventory management system to minimize wastage and write-offs.
  • Manage the inventory management system, including filing, adjustment, transfer, and sample issuance.
  • Optimize warehouse capacity to maximize storage efficiency.
QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control):
  • Conduct lab tests and ensure compliance with relevant certificates of analysis.
  • Implement product quality control measures.
  • Handle product responsiveness, complaints, and recalls.
  • Release shipments for agency and house brands after QA approval.
GDP (Good Distribution Practice):
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for Good Distribution Practice required by local authorities and overseas principals.
  • Establish and update SOPs as needed to comply with Good Distribution Practice.
  • Conduct internal and external audits of GDP, including audits of third-party service providers.
Risk Management:
  • Manage insurance-related matters, including marine cargo reports and product liability.
  • Handle claims for broken and damaged goods.
Business Development / Market Access:
  • Attend overseas fairs to identify potential products for registration and product development.
  • Collaborate with principals on pricing and consignment stock inventory for e-commerce.
E-commerce:
  • Support last-mile B2C deliveries.
  • Work closely with principals to optimize consignment stock inventory.
Ad-hoc Assignments and Projects:
  • Undertake additional tasks or projects assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, procurement, cost control, logistics, and warehouse management.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices and GDP requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to handle ad-hoc assignments and projects.
