Summary The primary responsibility of Supply Chain Analyst, Asia is driving end to end supply chain excellence for embecta Asia. The incumbent is responsible to support ERP system launch, develop data analytics dashboard and reporting, simplify, optimize and automate the regional supply chain business process.

This role request to have supply chain capability to develop metrics dashboard and improve metrics performance, program manage supply chain initiatives, system and business process knowledge management and stakeholder communication. Provides guidance and support to Asia SCM organizations on latest supply chain technology (data science, machine learning, RPA etc) and best practices to ensure Asia SCM is externally and customer focused.

This role will define in a startup environment, which requires a high level of flexibility and process development skills. The scope of the role encompasses, but is not limited to, SAP launch and business process development, data science and analytics, project management, dashboard development, metrics and knowledge management.

The Supply Chain Analyst, Asia reports directly to supply chain Director, Asia. This role will be based in Singapore and cover five markets in Asia region (Australia and New Zealand, Japan, Korea, India and South East Asia).

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and coordinate strategies on supply chain architecture, planning, logistics, order management, and systems
  • Lead and support ERP system launch design mapping, business process development, localization workshops, user testing, user training, cut-over planning and execution for embecta Asia.
  • Work with IT to define and launch regional supply chain application
  • Support annual budget and long-range planning process
  • Partner global supply chain for E2E supply chain metrics and other dashboard development. Capture business requirement to develop regional supply chain dashboards and tracking mechanism.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support Asia SCM with prioritization and reporting of initiatives; design programs and act as supply chain project management office (PMO) to deliver savings, support cost avoidance, increase efficiency and contribute to top line result
  • Owns compliance & risk management, business continuity and SC communication strategy and its implementation
  • Ensure Asia supply chain is technology and data savvy; understand latest technology developments impacting supply chains, develop business cases for implementation. Benchmark and evaluate future supply chain trends and best practices and prioritize areas of improvement
  • Support Talent development, people engagement, training plan, and upscale of supply chain associate analytics and automation skills.

Our Requirements:
Experience:
  • 5 - 8 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Demand & Supply Planning / Inventory management / Logistic and distribution
  • ERP Launch experience
  • Technical programming background
  • Process CI & Leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of SAP & Power BI knowledge and SharePoint Design. Expertise of Python and programming language experience is a plus, Proficient in MS Excel application
  • Possess analytical skill and ability to enjoy data mining/ report analysis. Ability to perform root cause analysis with recommendation of resolution
  • Strong Project Management/Project Leadership Capabilities & Change Management skills
  • Ability to influence without authority & ability to prepare and deliver impactful and business focused presentations to senior management
  • Ability to build relationships with senior leaders across all business functions
  • Experience leading large complex initiatives, bringing people, processes and systems together.
  • Strong cross functional experience beyond Supply Chain and Operations.

Qualifications & Certifications:
  • Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or related field of study; Master’s degree a plus
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Certification from a recognized supply chain institution such as APICS or CSCMP is a plus
  • Program Management Certification a plus
