Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Supply Chain Executive- Operations located in Jurong Island, Singapore through 16 Feb 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (Singapore Time).

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Develop daily plans for the respective third-party logistics (3PL) service providers who are doing outsourced jobs like (i) goods receipt of incoming materials; (ii) warehouse storage and ISO tank staging; (iii) inter-company stock transfers and (iv) value added services such as drumming, labelling, ISO tank heating and ad hoc filtering operations.

Plan and manage a fleet of locally leased ISO tanks of about 300 units. Close coordination is required with (i) Procurement - on/off-hiring of ISO tanks to meet demand (production, local deliveries and intercompany transfers); (ii) Operations Planning and Contract Manufacturing - daily just in-time delivery of ISO to SMP/tolling plants for loading; and (iii) 3PL - collection of ISO from the depots.

Optimize the usage of local lease ISO tanks for product transfer, material storage and delivery requirements at the lowest cost without impacting operational reliability.

Coordinate with 3PLs for the execution of the daily drumming plans and ensuring product integrity of the drummed product. This includes providing guidance to 3PL on drumming sequence, flushing requirements and highlighting any products quality concerns and specific instructions on drum weight and labeling requirements. Support Loftware drum labeling requirements.

Participate in the audits conducted at offsite facilities and follow up on any gaps and action items to ensure timely closure.

Responsible for the regular review of 3PLs procedures, Performance tracking and developing Performance Improvement Plans for the 3PL.

Ensure that work procedures are in place to ensure safe and flawless operations at offsite. This include all workflow processes as well as safety practices in the warehouse and on the road, inventory management practices, for which these must be in-line with contract agreements and local regulations.

Responsible for scheduling and facilitating 3PL KPI quarterly meetings and follow up on the action items. Some of the 3PL KPI metrics are operations performance, inventory accuracy, product integrity and incidents.

Monitor and provide updated logistics costs to sales and verify the sub-contractor invoices. Also, in line with managing contract for 3PLs, will support Procurement in contract renewals.

Responsible for the accurate and timely issue of sub-contracting orders to 3PL via SAP, as well as timely updates (or monitoring 3PL to update) of all inventory transactions, including goods receipt, goods issue, drumming production status, stock transfers, inventory split valuation, BOM and inventory adjustments in the Oronite SAP system.

Responsible for conducting regular reviews of slow moving and old stock and analyze the gaps between target and actual inventory levels, with the aim of developing action plans to optimize regional inventory level.

Lead and ensure the timely close out of investigations at 3PL to identify the root causes and appropriate corrective action(s).

Proactively work with various work groups and provide feedback and support to resolve operational issues.

Required Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Engineering / Business fields

3-5 years of experience in Operations / Logistics / Supply Chain

Experience from industries such as Oil & Gas and Chemicals

Ability to influence without authority

Ability to quickly connect and build relationships with 3PL service providers

Strong analytical and planning skills with a keenness to analyze, identify the key issues and develop solutions/alternatives

Fluency in SAP system

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to develop, implement and apply onsite best practices to offsite operations

Digital Skills (ERP system transactions, Excel, Power BI etc)

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:

Selected candidate will work in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.
