Claxton are looking to hire a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis. Based at their location in Tuas, Singapore, the Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator has the responsibility of supporting Supply Chain, Logistics and Projects in all areas of the operations of the business. By liaising with external agencies and internal departments, you will ensure that the administration needs of the Supply Chain, Logistics Flow and Projects are met and that Company procedures are followed.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute import / export shipment efficiently with stakeholders and freight forwarders
  • Support end-to-end supply chain functions to complete logistics cycle, procurement, transport, outbound / inbound shipment, and delivery to the customer
  • Ordering stock from suppliers to fulfil customer demand and maintaining service levels
  • Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
  • Maintaining all documents relating to supply chain process in accordance with the company\'s quality requirements
  • Supporting the function of the supply chain department
  • Negotiate the best service and price from suppliers and achieve maximum cost reduction to produce margin improvements
  • Attend all monthly/quarterly operations review meetings with assigned customers
  • Work with colleagues to ensure the stock system is updated and the team is made aware of any missing/damaged items equipment return
  • Entering of all goods received to the stock system and correlating the items received to the purchase order to ensure our order requirements are fulfilled
  • Assist and co-ordinate with visas, travel, accommodation
  • Assist with maintaining and monitoring Stationeries / Pantry supplies
  • General administration duties; e.g. copying, filing, sending documents and similar
Requirements
  • Certificate level qualification, ideally in business or accounts
  • Minimum of one-year experience of administration in business environment is preferable
  • Project management skills required
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confident in using Word, Excel and Outlook in the workplace to carry out a variety of tasks
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Able to apply sound judgement and decision-making
  • Preferably from Oil & Gas Industry
  • Singaporean Citizen/PR or Malaysian applicants are encouraged to apply
