Supply Chain Manager

Job Description


:

  • Implement new and improve supply chain processes in accordance with new or changing rules and importation laws in Singapore
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational flow, identify potential problems and find solutions
  • Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
  • Understanding of principles of accounting and finance

Job Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline. Preferably with a minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in supply chain and logistics
  • Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items
  • Understanding of accounting or finance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with partners
  • Ability to use MS Office and planning software to do forecasting and inventory management
