Implement new and improve supply chain processes in accordance with new or changing rules and importation laws in Singapore
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders
Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational flow, identify potential problems and find solutions
Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers
Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
Understanding of principles of accounting and finance

Job Requirements:

Degree in any discipline. Preferably with a minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in supply chain and logistics
Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items
Understanding of accounting or finance
Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with partners
Ability to use MS Office and planning software to do forecasting and inventory management
