Lead and develop commodity strategy and supplier management system. Lead supplier development & management inclusive of supplier sourcing, onboarding, score-carding and improvement plans, aligning sub-tier capabilities, ensuring continuity of supply, and exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

Job Duties & Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a Global Sourcing strategy and vision that delivers on established financial targets
• Coordinate with all business segments globally to obtain the best outcomes across all The company locations taking into consideration their long-range procurement needs
• Articulate and execute a Sourcing roadmap that builds capabilities and resiliency needed for long-term growth and sustainability
• Design a Sourcing organization that has the structure, process, technology, talent, metrics, and reporting needed to deliver the plan and build for the future
• Develop a high-performing and motivated strategic sourcing team responsible for interfacing with business and supplier partners
• Ensure stakeholder alignment and coordination via clearly articulated governance processes including definition of roles and responsibilities, decision rights and communication and coordination mechanisms
• Manage the supplier relationship, ensuring our suppliers are aligned with our approach and held accountable for their performance
• Review opportunities across The company business segments to synergize and consolidates buys
• Sets the vision and objectives for the global supplier management organization and implements policies and practices that yield measurable results in cost, quality, and delivery.
• Monitor and manage key supplier performance metrics, including periodic audits and business reviews.
• Improve The company\'s supplier management system and metrics to mitigate risk related to non-conformances, delivery delays, capacity constraints, and sub-tier business continuity.
• Lead the supplier identification, qualification & development process through validation of supplier technical and operational capabilities inclusive of First Article and or second sourcing activities.
• Ensures materials are expedited, manages escalations with suppliers, coordinates information with internal and external stakeholders (customers), and drives issues to closure.
• Drafts, negotiates, and executes long-term agreements and/or full-service supplier contracts, where appropriate, for assigned commodities; gains feedback and buy-in from appropriate departments such as legal, engineering, marketing, operations, quality, and from senior leadership
• Develop and uses strategic sourcing tools to proactively conduct spend analysis, maintains cost models and metrics by supplier and commodity, and communicates overall supplier performance, trends in technologies, and market conditions with respect to assigned commodities

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in Business or Engineering. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Possess 15 years of relevant experience, with exposure across multiple operational disciplines in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following areas: Procurement, Planning, Production Management, Master Scheduling, Factory Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and Program Management.
• Strong understanding of a contract manufacturing environment and Bill of Material management.
• Demonstrated record of managing and driving continuous process improvement.
• Exceptional analytical skills to identify root causes and drive resolution.
• Experience working with tier one ERP & PLM systems such as Oracle, SAP, Agile.
• Proficient in Word processing/typing, presentation tools (PowerPoint, Power BI), and data entry/spreadsheet software.
