Job Description

Supply Chain Planner is responsible and accountable for ensuring logistics and planning activities from point of order to delivery to client. Collaborate closely with clients, logistics provider, operation team and vendors to ensure smooth supply chain operation and on time delivery.
You will also be responsible to carry out administrative duties and documentation necessary to ensure that the orders are delivered accurately in a timely manner.
Key duties and responsibilities
Ensure orders are placed on time, shipments are on schedule & documentations from affiliates and/or suppliers are supplied in full on time. Ensure demand forecast and purchase orders are captured in the planning system including the master data maintenance such as lead times, MOQ, sourcing information, safety stocks etc. Pro-actively communicate with all stakeholders (Affiliates/Suppliers, Regional warehouse, Shipping Forwarder, Peers etc) to ensure smooth and thorough flow processes Support KPI tracking by monitoring & assessing service level from affiliates, suppliers & service providers & provide suggestions for process improvements Involve the weekly and monthly planning call with the Markets & Affiliates. Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to customers. Review, update, and maintain purchase and sales orders until they are closed. Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; reports non-conformances. Work with finance and logistics staffs in resolving receiving and invoice discrepancies. Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies. Support markets with any documents needed for regulatory support and custom clearance, Certificate of Origin

This will require involvement and collaboration with other functions and departments such as:
Regulatory (requirement for registration, and import) Forecasting Manufacturing (Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing control) Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) Logistics Custom clearance Chamber of Commerce e.g. SICC for Certificate of Origin submission

When challenges or opportunities are identified but data are not well defined, apply innovative approaches to solve them, as well as the ability to identify patterns from existing data to identify drivers and conclusions.
External and internal Interactions
External interactions may include contract manufacturing suppliers, finish goods suppliers, forwarding agencies, transportation and warehousing companies. Internal interactions include manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance as well as support functions such as Finance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma with equivalent work experience preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain and logistics environment Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Supply Planning team & others towards a common goal. Experience from ERP/MRP/DRP such as SAP/JDA/Navision and Supply/Demand Planning Tools will be a plus Computer literacy. Competent in Microsoft office. Accuracy and able to pay close attention to detail Good organizational and follow up skills Resourceful, Multitask & Ability to complete assigned tasks Experience working in Regional Hub and supporting Regional Market in Middle East & North Africa.
