As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer II, you are responsible for the development and on-going support of order management systems and processes for the parts network.

JOB DUTIES

• As part of Order Management Systems team, provide subject matter expertise to partner with IT counterparts and our Order Management and gATP business architects to enable realization of the many sub-projects in OM Transformation Phase 1 and 2:
• Participating in co-innovations with SAP on S/4HANA OM,
• Serving as OM SMEs consulting on other SPM modules to S/4HANA conversions going ahead of OM (ie ECC, EWM, CRM)
• Participate in deep-dive OM business process review in conjunction with exploration of what standard S/4HANA OM will bring
• Provide on-going 'running the continuous improvement' support of users (internal and external) of the order management systems via direct incident/task management and root cause correction action on system issues by supporting the formal problem management process

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible supply chain job experience

Top Candidates will also have:

• Bachelor's degree related to supply chain management (Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or IT)
• Previous experience in supply chain systems/process development and support
• A background in Supply Chain, Operations, Inventory Management, Materials Management and/or Customer Services
• Experience and knowledge of order fulfillment systems
• Experience and knowledge of processes used to interact with IT partners on system development and support
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and processes
• Advanced communication, analytical and problem-solving skills applied in a team environment dedicated to evaluating, improving and supporting systems and processes
