Reporting to the Global Shoes Production & Sourcing (GSPS) Supply Chain Integrated Business Process (IBP) Manager, as a key part of the ECCO GSPS HQ in Singapore, within the Supply Chain Management Team, the GSPS IBP Supply Chain Planning Analyst will be the key analytical resource to interface between core functional BU’s, Global Supply Planning (GSP), Global Sourcing Organization (GSO), GSPS Technical, as well as the ECCO shoes production units. The core aim is balancing worldwide markets demands and supply from production, ensuring that material and tooling capabilities are in sync. This position makes sure the new/ongoing groups Materials with smooth preparation and align with related stakeholders where gaps exist for resolution. Across relevant stakeholders, this role needs to ensure on time start up on the new/ongoing groups, enough material supply and capacity/machine/tooling coverage. Deep analytical and reporting on key areas, as well as running the Tooling & Development War Room and monthly GSPS S&OP process will also be key aspects.
There are two IBP Supply Chain Planning Analyst roles with complimenting focus areas:
1. Leather Materials – which makes up 40% raw material spend for the Group
2. Raw (other than Leather) Materials – which makes up 60% raw material spend for the Group
Duties and Responsibilities:
The general responsibilities of the position include but not limited to the followings:
Comprehensive understanding of MRP principles and supplier management service level agreements to ensure availability. of raw materials
Be fully involved and versed in new season planning with Category Management, S&OP Team and R&D to ensure all process are in sync with the planning calendar:
Consistently engage in Operations S&OP Meetings
Work with GSPS Technical on new platform development timelines
Work with Category Management to understand launches and timing of marketing campaigns etc
Align internally with GSP team on the new/ongoing group start-up:
Assist main planning team in preparing information for season planning towards factories
Connecting info on the sales sample (if any) with production start-up
Uncovering constraints, then developing actions with other stake holders, to make sure start-up on time
Actively involved in planning cycle especially before activation of supply plan and to make sure better demand coverage
Align with GSO and Factories to make sure on time supply and coverage of raw materials:
Review seasonal critical raw materials/internal components, based on the seasonal supply plan, and escalate where potential gaps exist
Assist GSO to translate into critical material / component monthly requirement (especially for dual sourcing groups) and agree with GSO for further actions
Make sure new material development will run as per plan and escalate where needed to make sure enough time for actions
Coordinate critical material / component requirement with related production units and GSO, to make sure on time development & consolidated supply coverage (gross capacity)
Ensure group leather prognosis on seasonal level is clear and communicated to the relevant stakeholders
Align with Technical GSPS in following issues:
If any certain condition / constraint from technical developments or tooling requirement with ECCO Engineering
Follow up with GSPS Technical on the development timeline for the new groups
Escalate if any expected delays on tooling or technical HO information
Prepare deep analytical reporting for GSPS stakeholders including being the Operational Lead on the resolution of raw material availability issues
Coordinate, prepare material and analysis for the monthly GSPS S&OP meetings
Seasonal KPI evaluation / reporting on the new group start-up, delivery on leather and raw materials and other issues as they arise
Ad hoc jobs of different kinds to be expected to support the balancing of the demand and supply coverage from GSPS towards ECCO
Requirements:
Candidate should possess at least a Degree preferably in supply chain or logistics related education
At least 5 years in supply/demand planning, MRP or inventory control
Must LOVE Data and Analytics, including exposure to Power BI and/or other reporting tools
Having shoe manufacturing background would be advantageous
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Ms Office application, skills in Excel (ie macros)
Knowledge in SAP, or strong experience in another ERP
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Able to multi-task and work independently within tight and developing timelines
Fluent written and spoken English, second language would be advantageous
