The role: You will be part of the HQ Supply Chain Team and your main responsibilities would be, being directly responsible for the performance of the freight forwarder and last mile courier vendors You will support the development, implementation and management of SC strategy to achieve optimal performance in the area of transportation. You will be responsible for ensuring that the freight forwarder and last mile couriers meet/ exceed expectations, and comply with import/export requirements of the intended jurisdiction to fulfil orders to customers worldwide and distribute to retail stores in the region. You are expected to be a creative problem solver who can identify root causes, scale processes, interpret data, and deliver meaningful solutions to drive productivity and efficiency. Reporting directly into the Snr Manager for Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Love, Bonito\xe2\x80\x99s supply chain through this exhilarating expansion phase. Main Responsibilities: Performance:
Streamline processes and establish best practices for first mile, last mile, and reverse logistics performance management.
Monitor transport vendor\xe2\x80\x99s performance and evaluate the service provider\xe2\x80\x99s performance.
Participate in the performance review and provide document feedback to understand gaps in operations.
Responsible for ensuring KPI targets assigned are delivered, by creating and developing a world-class delivery experience.
Build a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clearer communications between Love, Bonito and transport vendors.
Ensure transport vendors adhere to rules and protocols documented in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
Cost:
Support the supply chain manager by making recommendations for the best strategy in freight procurement, according to Love, Bonito\xe2\x80\x99s goals.
Get regular access to market intelligence, with special focus on freight rates, new freight procurement strategies and new shipping solutions.
Tender for contract rates, preparation of RFQ, compiling offers, selection of appointed forwarder/carrier, preparation of service contract draft.
Review Love, Bonito\xe2\x80\x99s network to drive for logistics cost-saving and efficiency.
Compliance & FTA:
Ensure that all shipping procedures meet company policies and government regulations.
Establish customs and FTA requirements for countries within the region considering Love, Bonito\xe2\x80\x99s suppliers and retail stores locations.
Capable of working independently in support of customs and trade compliance objectives and working collaboratively with different stakeholders across the business and the region, including management team.
Improvement & Projects:
Responsible for identifying opportunities and driving projects to improve customer experience and cost.
Set up meetings with new forwarders/carriers/couriers with the goal of activating new partnerships, when needed.
Plan and implement new initiatives on last-mile delivery and reverse logistics.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for execution of projects.
Requirements You should have/ be
An eye for efficiency and the ability to identify and implement large-scale process improvement initiatives using data-driven techniques (performance metrics or Lean techniques).

Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering, supply chain or related field is preferred.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in freight management, logistics vendor management or ecommerce operations.
A good understanding of warehousing and transport operations.
Experience in HS (tariff) classification, customs valuation and country of origin determination. Good knowledge of import/ customs regulations, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, import duties and taxes, as well as international regulations.
Good knowledge of freight incoterms and how to implement them.
Understanding of continuous improvement frameworks, techniques and methods.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheet.
Experience in project management.
An analytical profile with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
E-commerce industry knowledge is an advantage.
