Demand Forecasting:

• Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast product demand accurately.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather input for demand forecasts.

• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models, using statistical techniques and demand planning software.

Inventory Management:

• Optimize inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing holding costs and stockouts.

• Conduct inventory analysis, monitor inventory turns, and implement replenishment strategies.

Supplier Collaboration:

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components according to demand forecasts and production schedules.

• Coordinate supplier capacity and capability assessments to ensure a reliable supply chain.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and resolve supply-related issues.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to align supply plans with overall business objectives.

• Participate in sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings to align demand and supply plans, resolve conflicts, and optimize supply chain performance.

• Communicate supply constraints, potential risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze supply chain data, including demand forecasts, inventory levels, and supplier performance.

• Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track key metrics and communicate supply planning performance to stakeholders.

• Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
