Neste\'s Renewable Polymers and Chemicals (RPC) is a fastly growing business driven by a very international team. The team is committed to supporting our value chain in transitioning from conventional fossil-based raw materials to renewable and circular solutions where our raw materials can make their way into a vast spectrum of products and industries. In other words, we want to be a solution for decarbonising the value chain.

Our team is looking for a

Sustainability and Regulatory Transformation Manager

to join our Renewable Polymers and Chemicals (RPC) Global team. The role will be based in Singapore and reports to the Team Lead based in D\xc3\xbcsseldforf, Germany.

Your contribution to a more sustainable future

Your career at RPC will have an impact in driving the industry transformation towards a more sustainable future. You will be based in Houston, Texas and will be a part of an international team in a rapidly growing and sustainability driven business. You will work across various parts of the global organisation, cross-functionally as well as with external stakeholders.

RPC\'s Sustainability and Regulatory Transformation team provides sustainability- and regulation-related support, tools and expertise to the business. In this role, you are responsible for developing and conveying the sustainability value our products are delivering to the industry. Support in the development of the value chain and partnerships to grow the presence of our products and solutions. We collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to grow awareness of renewable products as a key solution to reducing carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels.

How you will be contributing in driving change to create a more sustainable future include:

Developing,maintaining and communicating the sustainability value proposition of Neste\'s renewable and circular solutions

Support in developing the market environment for RPC\'s products in Asia, while also providing support in other global regions

Identifying and developing relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure the acceptance and growth success of RPC\'s renewable and circular solutions (in collaboration with market facing teams and Public Affairs, for example)

Contributing to RPC\'s regulatory position building locally ensuring alignment with messaging in RPC globally markets

Participating and supporting relevant standardisation and technical committee work as well as monitoring evolving changes in the area of sustainability/environmental sector

Be the first point of contact related to sustainability topics within the Business in your region, e.g. with brand owners, and collaborate closely with various internal teams

Align our products (as well as future innovations) to the market requirements - either mandatory requirements or and voluntary market needs/requirements

Leading and collaborating between different internal and external stakeholders on sustainability-related topics/projects, as well as being the voice of the market/customers inside of Neste

Strengthening Neste\'s business communication and customer relations in the area of sustainability in order to promote transparency and credibility

Participate and attend external stakeholder meetings, trade fairs and conferences as needed

We\'re looking for a candidate with the best combination for the role:

A university degree and/or minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in business, economics, chemistry, engineering, economics, business or other related field

Experience in the area of sustainability, e.g. marketing sustainability, marketing, product management, corporate sustainability, supply chain sustainability

A general understanding of the US regulatory environment when it comes to polymers and chemicals

Proactiveness in seeking to improve the sustainability of our products and processes in order to create value for renewable and circular solutions

Strong communication and teamwork skills, flexible, ability to work in a diverse and fast moving environment, the ability to work independently and remotely

Ability to work on a broad spectrum of topics with the ability to have a strategic and operational mindset

Proficiency in written and spoken English, a second language is considered beneficial (Asian language, German or Finnish are seen as a plus)
