Job Description


JOB SUMMARY: The Sustainability Intern will have a strong interest in sustainability and social impact. They will support the execution of an industry leading factory responsibility program in home furnishings, working within the WSI sustainability team across Asia and the US. The Intern will focus on a project/s that will aid the continued evolution of WSI\xe2\x80\x99s social compliance and \xe2\x80\x98beyond compliance\xe2\x80\x99 initiatives for our global suppliers. The Intern will also support the Singapore team on reporting and data analytics as well as other ad-hoc tasks as required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the sustainability team to execute specific workplan project/s related to WSI\xe2\x80\x99s factory responsibility program to be scoped at beginning of internship.
  • Support the sustainability team on Handcraft project, includes define definition, verification & implementation process, and marketing.
  • Contribute to developing and executing communications that educate and deepen engagement with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with sustainability to support day-to-day tracking and reporting of social initiatives.
  • Research within the area of sustainability and benchmark prevailing trends.
  • Manage a project end-to-end based on interest and business needs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft BI is a plus.
Commitment period:
  • Able to commit to a minimum 4 full days a week for 6 months from Jan to Jun 2024.
  • This internship can be a credit-bearing internship with the academic institutions.
