Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. EvolutionX Debt Capital is a debt financing platform by DBS and Temasek. Headquartered in Singapore, EvolutionX Debt Capital provides non-dilutive financing to growth stage Tech and Tech enabled companies across Asia, with a focus on China, India and South-East Asia. DBS Bank is looking for exceptional candidates to join EvolutionX investment team on secondment from DBS. As part of the investments team, you will play an active role in deal origination, research, due diligence, structuring, financing transactions, Investment Committee \xe2\x80\x9cIC\xe2\x80\x9d approvals as well as portfolio management. Responsibilities

• Transaction origination through network of VC\xe2\x80\x99s and start-ups.
• Leading the process of identifying and assessing investment & lending opportunities in growth stage companies (Series C+) in tech/tech enabled sectors across India & South East Asia.
• Conducting sector research & target company screening, undertaking due diligence, building detailed financial models and termsheets, deal structuring, negotiations, drafting of investment papers, co-ordination of internal team meetings and participating in investment execution (including legal documentation).
• Preparation of IC pre-screening and approval materials and interact with.
• Regular tracking & updates of portfolio company performance, related fund cash flow management and capital deployment.
• Establishing and cultivating relationships with VC-backed companies and external partners (lawyers, accountants, financial advisors etc.) and other relevant institutions for business development.
• Mentor junior investment team members.
• Coordinating with internal & external stakeholders in carrying out investment activities.
• Other tasks and duties as required by the senior management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering, (Optional) Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering.
• At least 12 years working experience with a top-tier investment bank, credit funds/institutions, corporate finance, M&A, Equity/Debt Investing fund and/or accounting firm, with exposure to investing in India, SEA and/or China (exposure to investing in technology companies is desired, but is not a pre-requisite).
• High level of interpersonal, writing, technical and financial modelling skills.
• Able to work well within diverse teams and deal with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-starter with a proven ability to lead and manage multiple priorities and to work independently.
