Job Purpose:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to head the Mortgage Product Acquisition team within Deposits & Secured Lending. This role is responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and overall performance of DBS's Singapore mortgage products across residential, commercial, industrial properties, renovation loans, MRTLP, and Overseas Property Financing. The candidate will lead product development, acquisition strategy, pricing, and digital onboarding journey improvements, ensuring DBS continues to strengthen its position as Singapore's leading mortgage bank.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development

• Develop and lead the product acquisition strategies across the full range of mortgage offerings, using product features and pricing to meet market demand and strategic objectives.
• Oversee product innovation and digital enhancements in origination and onboarding journeys.
• Active contributor to the Pricing Committee, shaping competitive pricing strategies while balancing portfolio health.

Sales & Acquisition

• Drive loan origination growth through digital channels, branch distribution, and our wealth relationship managers.
• Develop campaigns, tools, and product bundles to improve customer conversion and retention.

Credit Risk & Compliance

• Manage and mitigate credit risk across the mortgage portfolio, including Overseas Property Financing, Renovation Loans etc
• Ensure strict adherence to MAS regulations, internal credit policies and risk frameworks.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance and Legal to design guardrails while ensuring business growth

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Co-lead squads in the Mortgage Performance Cell, collaborating horizontally across the organisation to deliver business outcomes.

People & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and specialists.
• Build a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on customer-first solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline.

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in mortgages, secured lending, or product management, with leadership role.
• Strong expertise in product acquisition, pricing, and digital journey design.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and portfolio performance.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in driving data-led strategies.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
