In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. This role provides hands-on leadership and governance oversight for SDLC teams working across multiple delivery channels on concurrent projects. Candidate is expected to provide input for the long-term strategy and roadmap for the Testing CoE and work with internal support teams to drive optimization of key business applications.Responsibilities

• Analyse the current state of testing practices, reviews, and scope for Automation.
• Participates in the review of existing process, techniques, test methodologies, design, approach, and strategy for continuous improvement.
• Participates in the assessment of new test tools to determine fit in the environment.
• Work closely with the Automation Leads, Application Lead, Product Owners for driving the initiatives.
• Establish the entire testing CoE in collaborating with the Automation Leads and building up team internally- implementing best practices and technical expertise within the team and enable team with automation tools
• Evaluate and select tools for test management, test automation.
• Conduct proof of concept for the various tools.
• Provides support for testing activities for large projects, small enhancements.
• Provides inputs to the RFP and Estimates
• Mentors, coaches, and monitors junior QA team members.
• Review and strengthen the testing related artefacts such as Test Planning, Test Estimation, Automation, Test Metrics Reports

Requirements

• 10 -15 years of experience and has led cross functional teams.
• Technical knowledge on leading automation tools, e.g., Selenium, SonarQube, etc.
• Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language)
• Experience in Automation of Functional and Integration Testing using - Selenium Web Driver, SOAP UI, Postman, etc.
• Strong Experience in Functional Automation Testing, API Automation and Mobile Automation
• Strategically design and build the Test Automation platform encompassing framework, tools, and accelerators
• Hands on experience in working in a Continuous Testing and DevOps environment.
• Good understanding of DB queries & Procedures
• Proven understanding of Software development methodologies: Agile/ Scrum, Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
• Planning and development of quality design and build that meet project objectives.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, across diverse level of organisation
• Demonstrate experience working in a highly agile team environment whilst maintaining focus and achieving outcomes and meeting deadlines.
