Business Function Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services. Job Role We are looking for candidate of high calibre to join our team of professionals. This is a diverse and varied role that will oversee and provide review across financial, tax and regulatory reporting as well as leading on the review and presentation of managements to senior stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Responsible for 3 business segments in the bank i.e. primarily Securities, crypto related business and Capital Markets Group.
• Lead a team in Singapore and Finance teams in Thailand and Indonesia.
• Responsible for reporting to and working closely with Business Heads of each business segment, as well as reporting to the Board for the respective business segments.
• Responsible for both financial and management reporting of the entities in the Group (“Group”) under these three business segments, spanning from Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Indonesia, as well as Group reporting which includes regulatory, financial and management reporting.
• Manage and lead consolidation process for the business segment, including the preparation of the monthly consolidated accounts with full compliance to the Group and Singapore regulatory financial reporting requirements and accounting standards. This includes tax compliance.
• Co-ordinate with external auditors and manage audit requirements.
• Lead the budget and forecast exercise, and Finance architecture roadmap change in partnership with the Group.
• Responsible for process improvements, system changes, new product launches, etc.
• Besides supporting the businesses, to also ensure controls and policies are adhered to.

Requirements

• Degree in Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent, with CPA qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ work experience in a financial institution; those with audit experience in a Big 4 will also be considered.
• Preference will be given to those with stockbroking or FI experience, and/or MAS/SGX regulatory reporting experience.
• Strong team player who is articulate, self-motivated and able to work independently under demanding reporting timelines.
