Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities:

• Own and manage multiple business- and technical projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as business case building, planning, analysis, design/development, implementation & post go-live handover to support.
• Align project goals and benefits with overarching business, technology, operations and horizontal organization KPIs and scorecards.
• Establish project scope, cost and schedules with cross-functional project teams.
• Manage project scope and its ongoing evolution. Work with the team to recommend options and alternatives where applicable.
• Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants, etc) from multiple functions and geographies across projects.
• Acquire sufficient understanding /subject matter expertise and preparedness of information to effectively explain key messages and ideas to project stakeholders.
• Proactively provide updates and communications as necessary, in the appropriate format and level of detail, to key stakeholders including senior management of the Bank.
• Resolve issues through mediation, negotiation, or escalation to the appropriate parties. Know when/what to escalate and to whom. Prioritize issues on the critical path accounting for multiple factors. Understand subject matter to facilitate meaningful issue and risk management.
• Ensures projects are completed in accordance with all risk, compliance, architecture and other relevant Bank guidelines.
• Manage budget for assigned project, forecasts and monitors project progress, and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Accountable for P&L of project investments.
• Motivate team members to get the best results. Able to manage globally situated project teams including time zones and offshore resource coordination
• Assess critical situations and make appropriate, effective, timely project decisions. Accept accountability for decisions and outcomes.
• Arrange and use effective techniques for facilitation of Agile (or similar) ceremonies including Iteration/Release Planning, Daily Stand-up, Iteration/Release Review, Retrospectives. Lead team to use Agile engineering tools such as Jira/Confluence as required by the Bank.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or Masters from a recognized university
• Possess one or more of the following certifications: PgMP, PMP, CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP
• Minimum 8 years experience in managing project implementations for software
• Strong regulatory, compliance and control knowledge
• Knowledge of project financials and accounting
• Relevant program/project experience in a banking environment is an added advantage.
• Experience with Agile software delivery (especially as a Product Owner or ScrumMaster) is a strong advantage
• Team player with ability to work with individuals from diverse domains
• Open, flexible mindset and highly adaptable
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
