Manage, maintain, and support network, desktop & server infrastructure which includes setting up and maintenance of servers, storage equipment and conducting backup and data recovery activities
Provide Server administration (Linux RedHat and Windows server) support and Database (MS SQL) support and troubleshooting in cloud environment and on premise.
Experience with Fibre Channel attached SAN storage, ISCSI, and Network Attached Storage solutions
Troubleshoot and fix storage issues like LUN visibility, access issues, performance issues etc.
Hands-on on oracle ZFS storage appliances like ZS7-2 including SAN & NAS protocols
Handle onsite/remote hardware & software issues including drive, part failure of storage system and liaising with OEM vendor for support and resolution and performing remediation activities wherever required
Standby for after office hours and weekend support
Preferable technologies
Experience on SAN Brocade SAN switches including Zoning, Masking, Mapping devices to servers,
Experience with cabling FC cables for Switches Experience on Dell Brocade switches
Experience of working in multi switch environment, configuration of ISL, trunking Netbackup Strong background with backup systems & experience in Veritas Net Backup 8.x, 9.XFamiliarity with SAN-based and IP-based backup solutions. Knowledge in operating systems
Experience on Net Backup in a large multi-platform environment including SSO, Master/media server and client configurations, MSDP, storage lifecycle Policy (SLP)
Experience installing, configuring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise backups in a large heterogeneous data centre environment.
Experience configuring fibre-based tape and disk environments consisting of tape libraries and tape devices, EMC Data Domains, Veritas Net Backup Appliances Good understanding of networking protocols
Experience with support, troubleshooting and problem resolution for tape backup and SAN environments.
Experience with Tape Storage Capacity Planning.
Experience with backup and DR recovery technologies and techniques encompassing architecture, design implementation and support functions.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical recommendations on backup architecture.
Strong knowledge in backup/recovery administration/design responsibilities in an enterprise environment Windows experience is a plus
Document the policies and procedures to support the operational storage environment and participate in the design and ongoing refinement of procedures and policies.
Prepare reports on storage administration best practices, new technologies, etc. and recommend enhancements and configuration changes to improve and optimize storage.
Ensuring the data is accessible and recoverable.
Involve in incident management, change request, service request and change request

Requirements:
Min 5 years and above experiences in Level 1,2 and 3 Migration and support for Storage Area Network (SAN)/Storage implementation
Experiences in SAN switches and Storage protocols and Storage virtualization Implementation
in data centre and SOP changes
Experience in maintaining SAN configuration
Experience in maintaining SAN project documentation including cabling, routes, zoning and configuration
Experience in monitoring and reports on SAN performance and provides input for SAN improvement
Experience in providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of storage infrastructure and services and capacity planning
Experience in defining the storage hierarchy, formats and defines the database, recovery log and disk storage pool
Experience in Testing and configures sequential storage pools and volumes
Experience in Closely interacts, collaborate with the delivery teams to stay up-to-date on issues and progress
Standby after office hours as operational require 24/7 support
