Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead
Design Transfer
activities usingDesign for Excellence (DfX)
principles. Act asSME
for assigned sub-systems and provide internal training where required. Collaborate withR&D, Manufacturing, and Suppliers
to align on design and production readiness. Conductdesign reviews
to ensure ease of assembly and high production yield. Support cost-efficiency initiatives throughdesign optimization
and application ofLEAN manufacturing
principles. Contribute toproduct sustaining strategies
in the development process. Design and developassembly and test jigs/fixtures
. Ensure accurate and completedocumentation
as per QMS (Quality Management System) standards. Develop and manage project workflows in alignment withQMS compliance
.Job Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
or a related discipline. Minimum3 years of experience
in aproduct development
environment. Familiar withDesign for Excellence (DfX)
principles. Proficient in tools such asDOORs
,JAMA
, andSAP
. Experience working inhighly regulated environments
(e.g., medical devices, aerospace) is preferred. Hands-on knowledge of either:3D CAD software (e.g.,
SolidWorks
) orElectrical CAD software (e.g.,
Altium Designer
).
