System Engineer (Linux | Patching | Hardening) Working Location: Buona Vista Working Hour: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 6pm Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm Responsibilities: * Responsible for system con System Engineer (Linux | Patching | Hardening) Working Location: Buona Vista Working Hour: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 6pm Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm Responsibilities: Responsible for system configuration, OS hardening, system patching, and maintenance. Provide IT end-user support for cybersecurity assurance and compliance including asset documentation for devices and systems. Collaborate with central IT teams (IT Security Operations, Governance, and Scientific IT) and vendors to ensure adherence to IT Security Policies, baseline cybersecurity requirements, recommended technology standards and best practices. Involve investigating security incidents reported by users and/or detected including coordinating recommended countermeasures, status updates and preparing an Incident Report for official closure. Provide technical support for the installation and configuration of security-related software on Scientific IT devices such as ensuring updated OS patches and Hardening, updated anti-virus signatures and NAC agents. Execute timely remediation of audits and penetration tests findings in collaboration with other teams. Requirements Min 3 years of experience Infrastructure Operations Support Experience in providing end-user, workstation or VM support such as OS patching and Hardening, Antivirus, IP networking, documentation, asset inventory Familiar with OS Platforms such as Windows, Mac, Linux and Scientific IT devices /IOTs If you are excited by the above opportunity and challenges and enjoy making things happen, do apply now!
