Job Description


SIPEF is a Belgian company, based in Schoten and listed on Euronext Brussels. It currently operates agro-industrial activities in the production of oil palm products, i.e. fresh fruit bunches (FFB), crude palm oil (CPO), palm kernels (PK), crude palm kernel oil (CPKO), as well as natural rubber, tea, bananas, flowers and foliage. The subsidiaries are located in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Ivory Coast; employing more than 21,000 people. Job duties

  • Work with Infra Lead to architect the enterprise LAN/WAN, IP Telephony, Routing, Data Centre Networking Technology, Network Management Systems (NMS) covering fault, configuration, performance and capacity management environment and leads the design, plans, and implementations of related projects.
  • Performs expert-level network maintenance, upgrades, and configurations. Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves expert-level network problems.
  • Good working knowledge on Security Management (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, VMWare NSX etc)
  • Work with team in evaluating new and prospective network technologies in designing and selecting future platforms, addressing cross-technology and cross-platform issues.
  • Execute Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Planning.
  • Oversee the user account management and development and deployment of patches.
  • Identify and thoroughly research various server/storage architecture and application suited for the business operations and develop the business case justification if needed.
  • Coordinate, and manage the implementation of server short- and long-term strategy in areas such as capacity planning, upgrade paths and service levels.
  • Oversee installs, configuration, upgrades, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security for the agency file and database servers. Ensure that the server uptime is meeting the metrics.
  • Identify security risks and coordinate their remediation.
  • Manage responses to security incidents.
  • Work with various IT functional groups to ensure end-to-end system security in regards to data exchange between systems both internal and external.
  • Provide practical security best-practice guidance to agency-wide networking initiatives.
  • Research emerging security technologies for their application in the agency\xe2\x80\x99s computing environment.
  • Monitors and enforces security procedures.
  • Analyze the impact of existing or proposed projects on the enterprise infrastructure to ensure projects are not compromising the security of the infrastructure or security policies.
  • Collaborating with systems, network, database, technicians on proposed projects to ensure security is maintained.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience as an Architect with multi-disciplinary technical skills in Virtualization\xe2\x80\x99s hypervisors, systems & storage, Backup, Network, DB, O365 and Hyper-converged
  • Expert knowledge of Load Balancing platforms - F5 or AVI / VMWare - MUST
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engagement
  • 5+ years of Network Virtualization with VSAT Broadband experience
  • Must have Technical Engineering Experience to provide oversight and peer review
  • Leadership experiences such as leading projects or functional teams
  • Good knowledge of Certificates, DNS, DHCP, Authentication, and Authorisation.
  • Experience with Cisco routing/switching equipment and routing technology and protocols
  • General experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection, threat mitigation
  • At least one relevant professional certification such as the CCNP
  • Vulnerability management experience
  • Compliance or audit experience
  • Process automation experience
  • Budget planning and/or cost estimation experience
Preferred
  • Candidate to possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic) or equivalent.
  • Understanding of current networking including SDN for Datacentre and SDWAN for WAN.
  • Well organized team player
  • Advanced analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Advanced technical and documentation skills
  • Affinity with Asian, African and Australian business interaction is a plus

  • The Systems & Network Infra Consultant reports to the Global Network Infrastructure Lead
  • He/she maintains frequent communication with colleagues within the group
  • He/she has a close interaction with all different business lines within the group
Working environment
  • Work location- Singapore with Global responsibility
  • Travel abroad (20%)
