Job Description

This role is for an information systems specialist to be based in the backbone of our logistics operations - Engineering. Managing the data and communication between server, machine and people. This is a critical role providing a specialization in operational technology. The successful candidate can look forward to stable career in information systems which is the basis of future industry.

Operational Technology

  • Revenue protection by analysing past and current performance while working with manager to come out with preventive measures on various defects
  • Sortation System's Sort plan management
  • Work with vendor to come up with solutions to optimize / change request
  • User account management for various platforms
  • SCADA application support
  • Label Learning for Sortation Machines when required
Data Analysis and Visualization
  • Drive improvement projects using data analysis on operation data (Sort plan optimization, process improvements etc)
  • Providing data to internal and external parties, including cleaning and pre-processing of data if required
  • Upkeep sortation system's data dashboard for internal department (Processing, Engineering etc) circulation and ease of reference
  • Maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for Engineering and MIS teams, including sharepoint database and PowerApps.
  • Provide and analyse data/images to assist in investigation for clarification and reject findings
Requirements:
  • Diploma (Data Science/Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent)
  • 1-2 years of experience in data analysis and visualisation or information systems.
  • Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for a higher position / Candidates without prior work experience may also be considered.
  • Intermediate skills for Microsoft Suite of applications (Office, Power Apps, Power BI etc)
  • Basic data handling skills (Extract, Transform, Load)
  • Basic programming skills (E.g., MySQL queries)
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for I.T networking and systems (Servers, switches etc)
  • Meticulous with details and numerically inclined
  • Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Data visualisation skills (experience in Tableau, Power BI will be an advantage)
  • Experience in logistics information systems will be an advantage
  • Experience in robotic process automation will be an advantage
