Job Description

Requirements:

• Over 8 years of hands-on experience and knowledge in VMWare, VMware Horizon, and Windows OS (server and workstation).
• Proven professional track record with technical expertise in VMware Hypervisors, Clusters, Networking, DataStore vSAN, Horizon, vSphere, vRA, vRO, etc.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations for BAU (Business as Usual) and initiatives.

Technical Skills:
Must Have:

• Advanced knowledge of VMware products, VDI, Horizon view client/Agent, Hypervisors, Clusters, Networking, Horizon connection server, vSphere, vRA, vRO.
• In-depth knowledge of tools for troubleshooting VMware and Microsoft technologies, including Systrack, Splunk, processmon, trace log collection, and dump log analysis.
• Advanced scripting skills for inventory, reporting, log collection, remote debugging, and troubleshooting using PowerShell, Python, etc.
• Ability to lead root cause analysis preparation, meet SLAs for RCA submission, and plan/implement fixes/patches.
• Sound knowledge of incident management processes for large-scale organizations involving multiple team engagements.
• Experience in supporting end users in L3 capacity for Upgrade and Migration projects.
• Customer-facing experience as a technical operations specialist with strong oral and written communication skills, capable of presenting to both large and small audiences.
• Ability to manage operations across multiple technologies, including Virtualization, OS, real-time communication, collaboration, Managed print services, and Mobility.
• Utilize incident and change management reporting systems to monitor and track changes.

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills; capable of translating technical details into layman\'s terms for a general audience.
• Experience in exercising judgment while analyzing and interpreting data to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for accounts.
• Identifying opportunities and determination to drive initiatives.
• Good interpersonal skills to collaborate and achieve holistic success in all initiatives.
