Responsibilities

Responsible to setup, configure, monitor and maintain IT infrastructure such as server, storage, network switches, firewall or other equipment in the laboratory
Perform scheduled backup and system recovery if needed
Perform Troubleshooting and resolve incident
Coordinate with vendors for scheduled work or maintenance
Responsible for providing system support to Marketing team during guest visits in the experimentation centre, exhibition, seminar
Responsible for providing system support during experimentation run or Proof of Concept (POC)
Participate in Proof-Of-Concept/trial projects with customers
Assist in the deployment and testing of application software or solution from the laboratory
Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

Requirements

At least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology(IT) or similar field
At least 1-2 years of experience in System Administration or related role
Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting with Windows or UNIX /Linux based environments
Experience or knowledge of working with virtualisation technologies like VMware, Hyper-V
Basic scripting knowledge
Experience in Cloud technologies especially in AWS (amazon web service) will be an advantage
A self-starter, with good initiative, commitment and drive

Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 2 Years Direct Contract employment.
