BAU operational support of Compute infrastructure with sound knowledge of ITIL v4 processes such as Incident, Change, Problem and Release Management

Ability to build and maintain self-heal/self-service automation to reduce the toil items

Identify automation/innovation opportunities in BAU environment and create tools/scripts to automate and schedule routine administration tasks

Using Ansible to automate production support activities that enable efficiency and productivity

ESXi, vSphere systems administration and support including vMotion, HA, DRS, vCenter Operations Manager, vCenter Service Manager, vCenter Configuration Manager, Site Recovery Manager

Microsoft Hyper-V systems administration at the hypervisor level as well as virtual server, high available configuration, mitigating troubleshooting services, rapid return to service in the event of an outage

Collaborate with application support teams to optimize performance of windows and Linux infrastructure.

Document and thoroughly understand the application architecture, system configuration across platforms and interface with various systems and use this knowledge effectively to resolve issues

Security Remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management)

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience
2 years solid experience in Scripting to include shell scripting & Python.
2 years of expert level experience with Ansible in a 24*7 environment
Experience in Windows and Linux Operating System and Patch Management experience
1+ years of solid experience in VMware/Hyper-V Infrastructure
Automating Server patch deployment, Scripting and development patching tools using PowerShell and Python
Build tools using Ansible to automate production support activities that enable efficiency and productivity
Security tool and problem analysis documentation, must be able to write and proof documents intended for technical and executive audiences.
Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment, must be detail oriented and able to multitask to meet deadlines and company objectives
Familiarity and/or experience in implementing ITIL concepts in addition to technical aptitude are highly valued
Should adopt all open-source technologies
Continuous Integration and Delivery tool knowledge.
