The role will also be responsible for end-to-end GPD hiring in APAC region.Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) is a newly formed function within Takeda HR as part of the Talent COEI, brought together to position Takeda\xe2\x80\x99s future success by strengthening our Talent attraction and retention engine and adopting best-in-class hiring practices.Global Portfolio Division (GPD) is a business division within Takeda, built to position Takeda\xe2\x80\x99s future success by growing our global brands as well as supporting continued growth of our late- stage pipeline and driving best-in-class launches. Made up of over 12,000 employees across 77 countries and based in three main regions: Europe & Canada (EUCAN), Growth and Emerging Markets (GEM), and China. Additionally, GPD includes 4 global organizations: Vaccines BU, Global Portfolio & Launch Strategy, Global Medical and Marketing & Commercial Excellence as well as business partner functions.The GEM region is central to GPD, championing better health and a brighter future for patients, healthcare providers and our people. GEM as part of GPD aims to be seen as a Talent Magnet across all markets and Talent Acquisition is a critical partner in ensuring we are successful.ROLE OBJECTIVEAs the Talent Acquisition Lead - GEM, you will be responsible to ensure the success of Talent Acquisition initiatives within Growth & Emerging Markets (GEM). Act as a key strategic partner for key stakeholders in GEM HQ & APAC while acting as a GEM TA liaison for LATAM and EMEA regional leads ensuring the recruitment and retention of top-tier talent is intricately aligned with GEM\xe2\x80\x99s overarching business imperatives.This position will also ensure that regional GEM talent acquisition processes, programs and policies especially for GPD APAC countries are aligned to global programs and processes. This role will also be part of the APAC Talent Acquisition community.The role is based in Singapore and will be reporting to Head of Talent Acquisition for GPD. It is responsible for end-to-end GPD hiring for countries in Asia Pacific region.Furthermore, the position is responsible for implementing Takeda\xe2\x80\x99s global brand, employee value proposition and the business talent strategy to support attraction and retention of talents for this region. This includes leveraging technology to create a better experience for all stakeholders involved with TA. The position leads the relationship with the RPO vendor in the region and ensures that end to end TA processes deliver on the needs of the APAC countries and functions.ACCOUNTABILITIESPartners with GPD, GEM and Global Talent Acquisition COEI teams to align talent acquisition strategy with other functions including workforce planning, on-boarding, employee development, and diversity and inclusion.Provide strong and diverse internal and external talent pipelines for critical skills in the region, through proactive succession pipeline building and ongoing talent relationship management.Ensure develop and implementation of university relations programs where suitable to align with Takeda\'s Early Careers talent strategy.Partner with the Global TA Optimization and Excellence team and GEM stakeholders to ensure best fit TA delivery model in line with GEM\xe2\x80\x99s requirementsEnsuring the GPD TA resourcing model with the selected RPO partner is successfully implemented in the GEM region. Support onboarding and success of the RPO TA Partners in the regionParticipate in the deployment of Employer Branding strategies and integrate EVP into the Aspire to Lead strategy to become the employer of choice.Monitor and report on recruitment effectiveness by measuring and reporting of key metrics.Assist with development of fiscal year budget to optimize use of company resources.Represents GEM BU in both APAC TA CoP and Global Talent Acquisition CouncilParticipate in any globally agreed strategic TA initiativesEnable adoption of core technology solutions identified for GPD that will impact efficiency and effectiveness of TA creating an experience for all stakeholders impacted giving Takeda a competitive advantage amidst the changing marketplacePartner with GEM LT, APAC stakeholders and regional TA leadership teams to ensure TA resources are deployed to best meet the needs of the business.Delivers operational excellence on key performance indicators such as Time to Hire, Cost per hire, Quality of hire. Provides insights on recruitment effectiveness by measuring and reporting key metrics to relevant stakeholders. Uses data and analytics to underpin the recruitment service delivery and to champion continuous improvement.Provides thought leadership & market insights as a member of GEM HRLT and GPD Talent Acquisition LTSKILLS and LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIESProven ability and experience in effectively interacting with and influencing senior level HR and business/function leaders to establish trust and credibility.Strong experience in working across functions and in different cultures in high level complex environment.Strong experience and influencing skills in a matrix organization.Experience in leading a teams in matrix organization.Experience in vendor management.Strong collaboration skills are required.A strategic mindset and business focus.Ability to inspire and motivate a high performing team.Creates a clear and unifying vision that inspires the team to excel.Understands differences in practices across organizations or countries, and balances local demands and perspectives with global strategies.Previous knowledge and experience across multiple HR disciplines e.g.: Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation, Rewards, Employee Engagement, Hiring, Mobility, development.Understands compensation principles and has experience communicating international offers.Identifies opportunities and anticipates changes in the business landscape through an understanding and ongoing assessment of the environment affecting the business.Develops and communicates a convincing business case for change that motivates stakeholders to take action.Fluent in English, other additional languages as per the region to cover.Graduate with a degree in Human Resources or Business, ideally with an MBA from a reputable institution or university.8 years of standard-setting performance in this role or a comparable role.Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry coupled with experience in above country HR Partnering is a plus.At Takeda, we earn the trust of society and our customers through our values of Takeda-ism: Integrity, Fairness, Honesty, Perseverance.
