Overview of the role
Managing tax compliance for the Al-Futtaim Group entities in Singapore.
Tax Accountant will support the Tax Manager in Singapore. This position is responsible for providing full support for the Tax Record to Report processes, which include tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax documentation for the Al-Futtaim Group in Singapore.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Singapore Tax Manager along with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out its responsibilities.
Indirect Tax
- Prepare and file GST returns for the group of companies.
- Assist in ACAP renewal and respond to IRAS tax audits.
- Assist with advisory on the Singapore GST treatment of transactions.
- Review tax returns and tax computations for group of companies.
- Manage IRAS tax audits.
- Act as a point of contact for tax-related issues / queries
- Provide support with tax related system issues in close coordination with IT. Assist in automation initiatives.

- Degree in Accounting, Post-graduate diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant Direct and Indirect Tax experience in an in-house or medium-size accounting firm with Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP) for Income Tax and GST
- Positive attitude, meticulous and analytical.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.
