Job Description

Brief We are currently looking to recruit a talented lawyer of 2-5 years’ PQE, to join the Firm's dynamic and growing Tax & Private Wealth team, based out of Singapore. The existing Singapore team is part of a wider 70-strong Tax team across our global offices, and the Singapore / Asia team is expanding further as a core part of the strategic growth plans.
Background The team is headed by Valerie Wu, who has set up the tax and private wealth practice for the Firm for Asia, based in Singapore. In this capacity the team advises families and individuals as well as the services providers to such families and individuals, in terms of tax, trust, funds as well as regulatory matters. They act as counsel to many ultra high net worth individuals and families, to tailor solutions and provide ongoing advice for succession planning and asset protection needs, balanced with their family dynamics and business continuity considerations.
The Candidate Required The successful candidate can be either Singapore or internationally qualified (i.e. England & Wales, Australia, etc), technically excellent but equally important, be commercially astute and enthusiastic about providing superior client service. The candidate should have a solid background in tax and private wealth and any funds experience would be welcome.
